青藏高原原生犬种，是雪域高原独有的珍贵种质资源，是高原生态链、游牧文化中不可替代的重要组成部分。如今，无序杂交、种群退化、生存环境恶化、保护认知缺失等问题，让诸多本土原生犬种濒临纯种消亡的困境。
Native canine breeds of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are precious unique germplasm resources and irreplaceable components of the plateau ecological chain and nomadic culture. At present, problems such as unregulated crossbreeding, population degradation, deteriorating living environment and insufficient public awareness have put many local purebred canine breeds on the verge of extinction.
我们立足公益科普、实地保育、种质守护，以三大核心使命为支撑，持续开展青藏高原犬种保护工作，用青年力量留存高原独有的野性血脉，守护雪域生态与文化传承。
A group of young volunteers have gathered spontaneously. Based on public welfare popularization, on-site conservation and germplasm protection, we carry out the protection of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canines supported by three core missions. With youthful strength, we preserve the unique wild bloodline of the plateau and guard the ecological and cultural heritage of the snow land.
种质资源是高原犬保护的核心根基。保育中心聚焦玉树犬、西藏梗、拉萨犬等青藏高原原生特色犬种，开展系统性种质调研、种群登记、纯种甄别与基因留存工作。针对野外无序杂交导致的品种纯化度下降、纯种种群数量锐减等核心问题，通过常态化牧区走访、种群建档、纯种个体记录追踪，搭建民间公益性种质资源数据库。
Germplasm resources are the core foundation of plateau canine protection. We focus on unique native Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canine breeds including Yushu Dog, Tibetan Terrier and Lhasa Apso, and carry out systematic germplasm research, population registration, pure breed identification and gene preservation. Targeting core problems such as decreased breed purity and sharp decline in purebred population caused by unregulated wild crossbreeding, we build a civil public welfare germplasm resource database through regular pastoral area visits, population filing and tracking of purebred individuals.
我们摒弃盲目繁育，坚持科学保育理念，记录原生犬种的外形特征、生存习性、血统谱系，精准区分纯种、混血个体，为高原犬种的品种提纯、种群恢复、种质延续提供真实、可追溯的数据支撑，全力守护青藏高原独一无二的犬种基因库。
Adhering to the concept of scientific conservation instead of blind breeding, we record the morphological characteristics, living habits and pedigree of native canines, accurately distinguish purebred and hybrid individuals, provide traceable and authentic data support for breed purification, population restoration and germplasm continuation, and fully protect the unique canine gene bank of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
高原牧区气候严寒、环境恶劣，大量流浪、伤病、老龄原生犬面临饥寒、疾病、意外伤害等生存危机。保育中心以实地救助为核心，常态化开展高原流浪犬搜救、伤病医治、疫苗接种、日常养护、绝育安置等公益工作。
Due to the severe cold climate and harsh environment of plateau pastoral areas, a large number of stray, injured, sick and elderly native canines face survival crises such as cold, hunger, diseases and accidental injuries. Centering on on-site rescue, we regularly carry out public welfare work including search and rescue, medical treatment, vaccination, daily maintenance and sterilization resettlement for stray plateau canines.
针对牧区流浪犬无序繁殖、疫病传播、人畜共处矛盾等现实问题，深入乡村牧区开展实地帮扶，为弱势犬只提供基础生存保障，改善高原原生犬的野外生存现状。同时规范救助流程，建立救助档案，实现救助、医治、养护、安置全流程闭环管理，用实际行动为高原犬种筑牢生存屏障。
Targeting practical problems such as unregulated breeding of stray dogs, epidemic spread and human-animal coexistence conflicts in pastoral areas, we go deep into rural pastoral areas to provide on-site assistance and basic survival guarantees for vulnerable canines, improving the wild living conditions of native plateau canines. Meanwhile, we standardize rescue procedures, establish rescue files, and realize closed-loop management of the whole process of rescue, treatment, maintenance and resettlement, building a solid survival barrier for plateau canines with practical actions.
相较于物资匮乏，认知缺失是高原犬种消亡的深层核心原因。多数大众对青藏高原原生犬的生态价值、文化价值、种质稀缺性认知不足，盲目杂交、随意弃养、忽视保护的行为持续威胁种群存续。
Compared with material scarcity, the lack of public awareness is the underlying core cause of the extinction of plateau canine breeds. Most people lack sufficient understanding of the ecological value, cultural value and germplasm scarcity of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau native canines, and behaviors such as blind crossbreeding, random abandonment and neglect of protection continuously threaten population survival.
依托海内外青年志愿者力量，搭建双语科普传播体系，通过线上新媒体科普、海内外公益宣传、校园宣讲等多元形式，面向国内大众及国际社会普及高原犬保护知识。我们传递高原犬在生态平衡、游牧文化传承、生物多样性保护中的核心价值，破除大众认知误区，凝聚海内外公益力量，让更多人了解、尊重、守护青藏高原原生犬种。
Relying on domestic and overseas young volunteers, we build a bilingual science popularization and communication system. Through diverse forms including online new media popularization, domestic and overseas public welfare promotion, campus lectures and offline pastoral area popularization, we spread plateau canine protection knowledge to the public at home and abroad. We convey the core value of plateau canines in ecological balance, nomadic cultural inheritance and biodiversity protection, eliminate public cognitive misunderstandings, gather public welfare forces at home and abroad, and enable more people to understand, respect and protect native Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canine breeds.
我们以种质守护为根、救助安置为基、科普传播为翼，立足青年公益力量，深耕青藏高原犬种保护事业。不以微光渺小而止步，以长期、持续、专业的公益行动，守护雪域高原的原生生灵，延续高原千年野性与人文底蕴。
Rooted in germplasm protection, based on rescue and resettlement, and empowered by science popularization, we devote ourselves to the cause of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canine protection with youthful public welfare strength. Never stopping for trivial light, we adhere to long-term, sustainable and professional public welfare actions to protect the native creatures of the snow land and inherit the thousand-year-old wildness and cultural heritage of the plateau.
