——北京高中生发起高原犬保护公益社团
— Beijing High School Students Launch a Plateau Canine Protection Club
在遥远的青藏高原，一代代原生犬种扎根雪域、守护草原，既是高原生态平衡的守护者，也是藏地千年游牧文明的见证者。然而随着环境变化与无序杂交，藏獒、拉萨犬、西藏梗、玉树犬等珍贵高原犬种种群不断退化，纯种资源日渐稀缺，正悄然面临消失的危机。正是这份遥远却沉重的现状，让一群北京高中生选择主动发声，在校内发起高原犬保护公益社团，以少年之力，守护雪域生灵。
On the distant Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, generations of native canines have taken root in the snow land, guarding the grasslands — they are both guardians of the plateau's ecological balance and witnesses to a thousand years of nomadic civilization. However, with environmental change and unregulated crossbreeding, precious plateau breeds such as the Tibetan Mastiff, Lhasa Apso, Tibetan Terrier and Yushu Dog are degrading, and purebred resources are quietly facing extinction. It was this distant yet heavy reality that led a group of Beijing high school students to speak up and found a plateau canine protection club at school — guarding snowland creatures with youthful strength.
不同于传统校园社团，该公益社团由北京某中学国际部付羽希同学发起，在校内设立，以“科普传播、种质守护、青年赋能”为核心宗旨，专注青藏高原原生犬种的公益保护与宣传。成立之初，社团成员主动查阅高原犬保育资料、学习犬种鉴别知识、整理保护现状与濒危困境，将偏远高原的生态故事，带入城市校园的视野之中。同学们希望打破地域壁垒，让更多青少年看见、了解、关注这一极易被忽视的珍稀物种保护事业。
Unlike traditional school clubs, this public-welfare club was founded by Fu Yuxi, a student from the international department of a Beijing high school. With the core mission of "science communication, germplasm protection and youth empowerment", it focuses on the protection and promotion of native Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canines. Since its founding, members have proactively studied conservation materials, learned breed identification, and documented the current situation and endangered plight of plateau canines — bringing the ecological stories of the remote plateau into the view of urban campuses. The students hope to break geographical barriers, so that more teenagers can see, understand and care about this easily overlooked cause of rare species protection.
社团在校内持续开展多元公益活动，通过主题宣讲、科普展板、影像展播、校园公益课堂等形式，向师生普及高原犬的生态价值、文化意义与生存危机。同时，团队积极联动海内外青年志愿者，参与线上双语科普、公益文案创作、国际平台宣传推广，让中国高原犬保护故事走向更广阔的舞台。
The club carries out diverse public-welfare activities on campus — themed lectures, educational display boards, documentary screenings and public-welfare classes — to popularize the ecological value, cultural significance and survival crisis of plateau canines among teachers and students. Meanwhile, the team actively connects with young volunteers at home and abroad, participating in online bilingual science communication, public-welfare copywriting and promotion on international platforms, bringing the story of China's plateau canine protection to a broader stage.
少年虽远，亦可赴山海之约；力量虽微，亦可护万物生灵。北京高中生自发组建的高原犬保护公益社团，不仅是一场校园公益实践，更是当代青年主动承担生态责任、守护生物多样性的生动体现。未来，社团将持续以热爱为炬、以坚持为翼，汇聚更多青年力量，持续为青藏高原犬种保育、雪域生态守护传递温暖与微光。
Though young, they can answer the call of mountains and seas; though their strength is small, they can protect living creatures. The plateau canine protection club founded by Beijing high school students is not only a campus public-welfare practice, but also a vivid embodiment of contemporary youth actively taking ecological responsibility and safeguarding biodiversity. In the future, the club will continue to gather more youthful strength with passion as a torch and persistence as wings, passing on warmth and light for the conservation of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau canines and the protection of the snow land's ecology.
参与保育中心日常照料、牧区走访调研、流浪犬救助转运与档案记录，把公益做到高原之上。
Join daily care at the conservation center, pastoral field surveys, stray rescue transfers and record keeping — hands-on public welfare on the plateau.
参与中英双语科普内容创作、新媒体运营与国际平台传播，让高原犬保护故事走向世界。
Create Chinese-English bilingual science content, run new media channels and spread the story of plateau canine protection on international platforms.
在校园与社区开展主题宣讲、科普展览与公益课堂，唤醒更多年轻人的保护意识。
Give themed lectures, exhibitions and public-welfare classes in schools and communities, awakening protection awareness among more young people.
